The icon opens a browser tab
Your browser may have created a shortcut rather than a separate app window. The downloader still works from that shortcut. Where an install option or Open as Web App setting is available, use it if you prefer an app window.
The video is not in Photos or your gallery
Check the download list or Files app first. On iPhone and iPad, a downloaded MP4 may remain in Files until you open its share menu and choose Save Video, if available. Check the saved copy before starting the same download again.
A large download stops before finishing
Check free storage and your internet connection, then retry the selected file. Keep the download window open and check its progress. If space or connection speed is limited, choose a smaller MP4 from the available results.

What kinds of VK videos can be downloaded?
The tool supports individual public video and Clip links from vk.com, vk.ru, and vkvideo.ru, including supported subdomains. The URL must identify one video or Clip, and VK must provide at least one complete MP4 file.
Why is a VK video not downloading?
The video may be private, require a login, be deleted, be unavailable in the current region, be restricted for copyright reasons, expose no direct MP4 file, or be affected by a temporary VK or network error.
Are all resolutions and MP4 options always available?
