A video album is not an individual video URL
A VK album downloader would need to identify and save the videos in a collection. This tool does not scan albums, create a ZIP, or process photo and music albums. It accepts the individual page URL for one public video or Clip instead of a whole collection address.
You can save a public video individually by opening that item inside the album and copying its own link. Repeat manually for each video, keeping a record of the items you checked.
For an album, the useful question is whether you have accounted for the collection’s visible items. A video playlist adds a different concern: retaining the viewing sequence. Both can change, so record what you saw at the time rather than treating an old count as a permanent inventory.
Use a folder name that identifies the album and keep the item URL beside each saved filename in your own notes. Titles alone may repeat or change. The downloader adds the selected quality to each video title, but it does not add the album name, track duplicates, or certify that every item was found.
How to save an accessible album video
Work with one video at a time and do not assume the album list is complete or permanent.
Before starting, create a folder for the album and decide what information you want in your item list.
Open one video in the album
Choose an item you are permitted to save and open it fully. Make sure the browser address changes to that video's dedicated VK page instead of remaining on the album or owner profile.
Copy the individual video URL
Copy the complete address for that one video. Do not paste the album, profile, feed, search, photo, or music collection URL, because those pages do not identify one supported file.
Download and record that item
Paste the public item URL above and click Download to check it. Select a quality, then click Download in the result. After the browser finishes, mark that item as saved in your notes before returning to the album for another permitted video.
Keeping track of a video album
Example: an album shows six entries, including a repeated video and an unavailable item. Record each outcome as you work through the list.
Entries 1 and 2: public videos
Open and check each item separately. After a completed download, record the item URL, saved filename, and chosen quality. If one video appears again later, its URL can help identify the duplicate even when the surrounding label differs. Keep the list in your own notes so you can return to unfinished items later.
Entry 3: restricted or removed
If an item requests a login or displays a removal message, record the stated result instead of marking it downloaded. If the video is restricted, ask the uploader for a version you are allowed to save. An accessible album page does not give this public-link tool the same access as an authorized viewer.
Entry 4: the same video again
Compare the item link with your saved record. Decide whether you need another copy or can note the repeated entry against the existing file. Use the individual link to distinguish repeated entries from different videos with the same title.
Entries 5 and 6: different video types
A collection may point to a Clip and a long recording. Open each dedicated page and plan the file size separately. For a larger album, check whether more entries load beyond the initial view before recording how many visible items you examined.

Open a specific public video inside the album and copy its dedicated page URL instead.
Some items cannot be opened
Those entries may be private, deleted, restricted, or visible only to a permitted account; the downloader cannot bypass that state.
The album changed while I was saving
Compare the current visible list with the item URLs in your notes. Record additions or removals separately rather than silently replacing the earlier list. Keep the date with your list so you can tell which entries you checked before the album changed.
A tool promises a complete ZIP
Check how it counts videos, loads every part of the album, reports failed entries, names files, and confirms that nothing was missed before relying on that claim.
VK Album Downloader FAQ
What kinds of VK videos can be downloaded?
The tool supports individual public video and Clip links from vk.com, vk.ru, and vkvideo.ru, including supported subdomains. The URL must identify one video or Clip, and VK must provide at least one complete MP4 file.
Why is a VK video not downloading?
The video may be private, require a login, be deleted, be unavailable in the current region, be restricted for copyright reasons, expose no direct MP4 file, or be affected by a temporary VK or network error.
Are all resolutions and MP4 options always available?
No. Results only include complete MP4 files provided by VK for the submitted video. The tool does not create missing resolutions, upscale the source, or convert a stream-only video into MP4.
Is downloading from VK safe and allowed?
This site does not ask for VK credentials and only handles the link you submit. Download content only when you own it or have permission, and follow VK's terms and the laws that apply to you.
Where is the downloaded VK video saved?
Your browser controls the save location, usually the Downloads folder unless you changed that setting. The filename uses the video title followed by the selected resolution.
Can this tool download a whole VK video album at once?
No. It supports individual public video and Clip URLs, not scanning a whole album, downloading every item as a batch, or creating a ZIP file.
Does VK Album Downloader mean photo or music albums?

Will individual downloads preserve album order and filenames?
The downloaded filename uses the video's title and selected resolution. It does not add verified album order, because collection membership and order can change.
What happens when an album contains private or deleted videos?
Those items cannot be processed through the public-link workflow. Access to one public item does not prove that the album is fully downloadable.
